Welcome to the Nymboida Coaching Station Inn

"Overlooking the river and the Great Dividing Range, The Coaching Station offers luxury accommodation in a spectacular setting in the unspoilt Australian countryside"

We are your Nymboida River country hospitality experts. Not only do we offer excellent accommodation, but are open for quality meals in our fully licensed premises seven days a week, providing lunches 12 - 2pm daily and dinner 6 -8pm daily, and can also provide morning and afternoon teas every day with the exception of Christmas Day and Good Friday.

Come and break your travel and enjoy an overnight stay or simply refresh yourself on your journey at our premises in the delightful setting on the banks of the Nymboida River, with perhaps the chance of spotting a platypus in the wild.

Step Back In Time

The original Wine Bar and Parlor Room, now a cosy part of the fully licenced Hotel and restaurant, display many old photographs and memorabilia of an era long past.

Original hand-sawn cedar and red mahogany beams, parallel walls and open log fires maintain the historical atmosphere of the 19th century when Cobb & Co. stage coaches, bullock teams, timber cutters, graziers and other pioneers stopped here on the woolpack road from Armidale to Grafton.

Bring the family and see a wide range of exhibits on display ranging from motorcycles and race cars to displays on local history and not to be missed, the giant "Leviathan" stage coach, the largest horse-drawn Cobb and Co Coach ever built!

Also featured are displays of costumes and props from Hollywood movies including some of the biggest blockbusters, Gladiator, Robin Hood, Master And Commander and many more as well as a very impressive assortment of displays from Russell Crowe's personal collection of "Interesting Things"
